Job summary

CoreWeave, the AI Hyperscaler™, acquired Weights & Biases to create a powerful end-to-end AI platform. We are powering experiments, model training, and AI deployment across data centers in the US and Europe.

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will expand and maintain the data platform, collaborate on telemetry improvements, and participate in on-call rotations. You’ll advance data catalogs, semantic layers, and internal AI workflows while supporting self-service analytics.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge (practical and theoretical) of data engineering and the accompanying workflows.
• History of writing easy-to-follow code and effective documentation for your projects.
• Expert knowledge of data orchestration/data pipeline tools (dbt, dagster, airflow, etc).
• Experience working with large and high-demand data warehouses/platforms, multi-PB scale.
• Expert knowledge and understanding of web apps and best practices for logging and event instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Expand and maintain our data platform in collaboration with Data Platform Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Improve product telemetry in partnership with core engineering.
• Join the on-call rotation for the data platform.
• Migrate data build tools to improve efficiency and performance, build a robust internal data catalog and semantic layer, and support self-service analytics.
• Lay foundations for internal AI applications built on top of our operational data.
