Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer in New York to expand and maintain a scalable data platform across data pipelines, telemetry, and analytics. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize the data workflow and support AI-related experimentation and deployment.

You will participate in on-call rotations and drive projects to migrate data build tools, build a data catalog, and lay the groundwork for AI-powered data applications.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of data engineering and accompanying workflows.
• Experience writing clear, maintainable code and documentation for data projects.
• Expert knowledge of data orchestration/data pipeline tools such as dbt, dagster, airflow.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Platform Engineers and Data Scientists to expand and maintain the data platform.
• Collaborate with core engineering to improve product telemetry.
• Join on-call rotation for the data platform.
• Migrate data build tools to improve efficiency and performance.
• Build a robust internal data catalog and semantic layer for self‑service analytics.
• Lay the foundations for internal AI applications built on top of operational data.
