Job summary

CoreWeave, the AI hyperscaler, is seeking a Software Engineer to scale the Metrics Platform powering Weights & Biases. You will drive backend performance, data ingestion, and API design for clients using very large storage footprints.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams across CoreWeave and Weights & Biases, mentor engineers, and help shape long‑term architectural decisions while delivering reliable, cost‑effective systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend performance and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript).
• Experience designing and scaling customer-facing APIs in production with systems such as MySQL, ClickHouse, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, or Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Scale the metrics and storage systems behind Weights & Biases’ flagship Models product.
• Set technical direction and balance near-term deliverables with long-term architectural improvements.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across the organization.
