Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS, Eng, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Deep expertise building scalable AI-enabled applications and distributed systems.
• Experience architecting and deploying AI agents, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered apps at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into existing enterprise apps.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of RAG, tool calling, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Observability, CI/CD, automated testing, and production ops for AI apps.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence architectural direction across teams.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents and agentic workflows that integrate with enterprise apps.
• De-risk AI integrations with evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and safety frameworks for LLM-powered applications.
• Architect and implement scalable AI-enabled capabilities in Java/Spring microservices.
• Establish engineering best practices for AI Agent systems, including observability, testing, deployment, and versioning.
• Drive architectural decisions across AI services, microservices, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to productionize models and translate experiments into reliable software.
• Mentor engineers, lead architectural reviews, and influence technical strategy.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and propose pragmatic adoption strategies.
