Job summary

Press Ganey is hiring an ML Engineer II to expand and scale our Machine Learning and AI capabilities. You will work on core AI initiatives across multiple business units, building and deploying production AI systems in a Java/Spring environment.

You will implement robust safety and evaluation frameworks, collaborate with AI scientists, and contribute to a distributed microservices ecosystem while growing your software engineering skills alongside senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• BSCS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years of hands-on ML Engineer experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow for production.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and performance.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# for enterprise software.
• Experience building and maintaining AI-enabled services in enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy production-ready AI agents and workflows that integrate with enterprise applications.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and safety frameworks for de-risking LLM-powered apps.
• Develop AI-enabled features within the Java/Spring platform and distributed microservices.
• Collaborate with AI scientists and ML engineers to productionize models and translate experiments into reliable software.
• Stay updated with AI tech and propose adoption strategies to improve product capabilities and developer productivity.
• Work with cross-functional teams including tech-ops and product managers to deliver value.
