Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Roy, Utah, seeks a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join the Command Systems Hardware team on the Sentinel GBSD program.

You will work in an Integrated Product Team environment to develop and deliver Product Definition Packages (PDPs), coordinate with suppliers and customers, and ensure design requirements are met. A Secret clearance and SAP access are required or will be pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 12+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy mechanical mechanisms verified by test/analysis.
• Develop CAD models visualizing design solutions.
• Deliver PDPs on time to meet program objectives.
• Integrate PDPs with element teams to prevent design clashes.
• Ensure PDPs meet design requirements from specifications.
