Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support the Sentinel GBSD program. You will create deployable mechanisms, develop PDPs, and interface with IPT leadership and suppliers to resolve design challenges.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years’ experience or a Master’s with 1+ year, US citizenship and an active Secret clearance. On-site work in Roy with potential relocation assistance and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 2+ years of related experience or Master’s with 1+ year.
• US Citizenship with active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.
• Experience with 3-D modeling, PDPs and PLM/PDM tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement deployable mechanical mechanisms verified by tests.
• Develop CAD models visualizing design solutions for PDPs.
• Deliver PDPs on time to meet program objectives.
• Identify design gaps and provide cost-conscious resolutions.
