Job summary

Celestica International LP is seeking a Staff Engineer, Mechanical Design to lead the physical design for energy infrastructure products. You will bridge customer discovery with engineering execution, acting as the primary mechanical architect across engineering, sales, supply chain and manufacturing.

You will translate complex customer needs into scalable, high- quality mechanical systems, ensure thermal and structural integrity, and guide programs from concept through field deployment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Systems Engineering is required.
• MS or PE license is preferred.
• Experience in design for energy infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead solutions architecture and translate customer requirements into mechanical specifications.
• Guide proposals as SME and define executable scopes of work.
• Drive DFMA/DFM alignment with suppliers and fabrication teams.
• Conduct design reviews and enforce documentation standards.
