Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on mechanical design experience in power infrastructure, smart energy, or modular equipment sectors.

Responsibilities

• Interface with prospective clients to interpret specifications and translate requirements into mechanical specifications and ICDs.
• Lead technical scoping for proposals as the central mechanical SME, ensuring well-defined, executable scopes of work.
• Analyze complex system architectures to optimize mechanical solutions balancing performance, weight, cost, and manufacturability.
• Design and develop 3D mechanical concepts, enclosures, frame weldments, and sheet metal assemblies using CAD and advanced simulation software (FEA/Thermal).
• Drive DFM/DFA with fabricators and vendors; resolve manufacturing challenges during production runs.
• Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and technical deliverables, while mentoring junior design engineers.
• Support field commissioning and leverage feedback to iterate on designs for reliability and deployment speed.
