Celestica International LP is seeking a versatile Staff Engineer, Mechanical Design to lead the physical design and development of our energy infrastructure portfolio. You will be the primary mechanical architect, bridging customer discovery and engineering execution.

You will collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to translate customer requirements into scalable mechanical systems with strong structural integrity and thermal performance. Travel up to 35% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years of hands-on mechanical design experience in power infrastructure, smart energy, or modular equipment sectors.
• Experience leading mechanical design for complex assemblies from concept to field deployment.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Aufgaben

• Lead the mechanical architecture for energy infrastructure solutions.
• Interface with clients to translate requirements into ICDs and mechanical specs.
• Lead design reviews and enforce documentation standards.
• Drive DFMA/DFM during manufacturing alignment with fabricators and vendors.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage project schedules and deliverables.
