Job summary

Celestica International LP seeks a Staff Engineer, Mechanical Design to lead the physical design of energy infrastructure solutions. You will bridge customer discovery and engineering execution, acting as the primary mechanical architect and coordinating with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and engineering teams.

You will translate complex customer requirements into scalable, high-quality mechanical systems, with emphasis on structural integrity, thermal efficiency, and grid integration.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• MS or PE license preferred for advanced roles.
• 7–10 years of hands-on mechanical design experience in power infrastructure or modular equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical architecture and design for energy infrastructure products.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed mechanical specs and ICDs.
• Perform design reviews, DFMA, and collaboration with fabrication vendors.
• Drive cross-functional coordination, schedules, and mentoring of junior engineers.
