Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer for the A320 Engineering Department.

You will assess manufacturing non-conformities, support late changes to production, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process, acting as a technical expert in structures/systems. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure clear work instructions to unblock production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience, preferably in Final Assembly Lines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, quality systems, and health/safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturing non-conformities and support production with late changes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the manufacturing process.
• Mentor new engineers and provide training related to POA compliance and upskilling.
• Oversee rework work orders to ensure clear instructions for operations and resolve production disruptions.
