Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer I (Process Engineer) for the Mobile, AL facility.

You will translate design intent into the shop floor instructions and manage the Manufacturing Dossier for the A320/A220 lines, ensuring safe, efficient production. You will support the shop floor with technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks, and health & safety compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with Bachelor's degree, or Non-degree holder with 3 years of Airbus experience or 5 years of industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings
• Able to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
• Knowledge of Airbus IT-Tools (TiCon, Zamiz, TAKSY, DOcMaster).
• Knowledge of common applications such as SAP/R3 (Module PP/PM).

Responsibilities

• Translate design intent into the compilation and control of technical instructions for product manufacturing.
• Provide support to the shop floor and manage the integrated Manufacturing Dossier.
• Develop and maintain routings, BoM, and SOI in line with ABP processes.
• Plan and execute work prep, time calculations, and feed loops with the Production Team.
• Support shop floor continuous improvement and industrial requirements during design phases.
• Attend meetings and relay information to team members.
