Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join the A320 Engineering Department. You will assess non-conformities, support late changes to production, and identify continuous improvement opportunities in the manufacturing process.

You will act as the interface to on-site back office for work order adaptation and provide technical guidance on drawings and work orders. The role involves communicating with FAL production, supporting ME activities, and participating

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of aerospace manufacturing experience, preferably Final Assembly Line.
• Travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Create specific work orders for FAL rework (Cabin, Systems, Electrics, or Structures by Station); verify non-conformities and validate in documentation.
• Provide technical support to production on all issues including oversight of directed changes.
• Incorporate implicit knowledge into work instructions; refine language, detail, and regulation assignment for accuracy.
• Coordinate availability of replacement parts, jigs, and tools required for work.
• Collaborate with quality to manage continuous improvement measures.
• Support ME activities in the FAL as an active team member.
• Assist routing verification process (RVP) for new/updated processes.
• Participate in training plans and provide orientation support to new colleagues.
