Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL, seeks a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering professional to support assembly line processes, quality controls, and shopfloor improvements. You will collaborate with production teams across global functions to manage NCs, optimize workflows, and drive Lean initiatives for A320/A220 lines.

The role emphasizes hands-on analysis, strong communication, and ability to work autonomously while coordinating with internal customers across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field is required.
• Minimum 3+ years aerospace experience, preferably in a Final Assembly Line.
• Ability to work in an international team with internal customers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Identify Non-Conformities (NCs) on the shopfloor.
• Assess the need to create NCs and NC Notifications.
• Fill NC forms with relevant information and support resolution.
• Follow up the NC process and push for timely resolution.
• Identify production issues and elevate to support functions as needed.
• Analyze industrial systems to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support Work Improvement Proposals (WIP) and LEAN initiatives.
• Assist with EH&S rule transparency and compliance on the shopfloor.
