Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I for our U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL.

The role supports manufacturing assessment of non-conformities and late changes, driving continuous improvement and serving as the interface to the on-site back office for work order adaptations. You will collaborate with FAL production, answer technical questions, and help establish clear work orders and drawings for aircraft mechanical items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 0-3 years of experience in Aerospace, preferably in an Aerospace Final Assembly Line.
• Willingness to travel 5% Domestic and International.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, processes and tools.
• Familiarity with supply chain management and quality systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create specific work orders for FAL rework and verify technical content of non-conformities.
• Provide technical support to production and oversee directed changes.
• Refine work instructions for clarity, detail, and regulatory alignment.
• Arrange replacement parts, jigs, and tools as needed for production.
• Support ME activities and routing verification for new/updated processes.
• Collaborate with multinational teams and stakeholders.
