Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking an Aircraft Systems Installer to join the production team. The role focuses on installing aircraft systems for the final assembly line, coordinating with LEAN practices and meeting safety and quality standards.

You will work at the Mobile Aeroplex, with opportunities for professional development, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and exposure to A320 and A220 line work. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Airbus training post-recruitment: Health & Safety; General aircraft familiarization; Quality trainings.
• Preferred vocational training in mechanics or systems.
• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Aviation Production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the station/workplace/aircraft parking space.
• Install and assemble components: mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque and secure mechanical parts.
• Inspect bonding as per order/GTI, drawing and specifications.
• Check system functions.
• Specialized in areas listed: VTP/HTP installation, Belly fairing & Flap installation, Air conditioning and Fuel system, MLG & Tank Test, Gauging Test.
