Job summary

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join the A320 Engineering Department. You will assess manufacturing non-conformities, support late changes to production, and identify continuous improvement opportunities within the manufacturing process.

You will communicate with FAL production, act as interface to the on-site back office for work order adaptation, and collaborate with international teams to ensure accurate technical content and efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Create specific work orders for FAL rework and verify technical content of non-conformities.
• Provide technical support to production on all issues including directed changes.
• Incorporate implicit knowledge into work instructions and refine them for clarity.
• Coordinate availability of replacement parts, jigs, and tools for work.
• Drive continuous improvement measures for reoccurring non-conformities with quality.
• Support ME activities in the FAL and routing verification for new/updated processes.
• Participate in training plans and onboard new colleagues.
