Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer at the staff level to support enterprise application delivery and ingress operations across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, certificates, routing, and edge security technologies.

The role emphasizes monitoring, troubleshooting, onboarding applications, performing configuration changes, and maintaining documentation while following runbooks and change controls to build the depth needed for greater platform ownership over time.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 2+ years in networking, cloud operations, or related role.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing.
• Ability to follow change controls and runbooks.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ingress and edge platform health, availability, alerts, capacity, and service performance.
• Perform initial triage of connectivity, load balancing, DNS, certificates, routing, and traffic delivery issues.
• Follow runbooks to collect evidence, validate health, and escalate complex issues.
• Participate in incident response, problem investigation, maintenance, and on-call support.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates and operational records.
