Job summary

EY is seeking a Staff Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise application delivery and ingress operations across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, certificate, routing, and edge security technologies.

The role emphasizes monitoring, troubleshooting, onboarding, configuration changes, maintenance, documentation, incident response, and lifecycle activities. A defined development path fosters growth with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Eng, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in networking, cloud operations, load balancing, application delivery, infrastructure support, or related technical role.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and HA fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure or application connectivity using documented processes.
• Ability to follow change controls, runbooks, escalation procedures, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ingress and edge platform health, availability, alerts, capacity, and performance.
• Assist with AWS ALB/NLB, AVI, Azure ingress services, and related components.
• Manage listeners, target groups, health checks, certificates, and traffic policies.
• Coordinate configuration changes under change controls and lifecycle activities.
• Support application onboarding, DNS, certificates, routing, and traffic management.
• Document operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
