Job summary
Hims & Hers is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture of scalable, front-end solutions for our Fulfillment and Pharmacy platforms. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performing interfaces critical to customer orders and operations.
With 10+ years of software experience, you will establish coding standards, mentor engineers, and guide multi-quarter roadmaps while embracing remote-friendly collaboration and cutting-edge
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering, with front-end leadership across teams.
- Proven track record building scalable web apps and services in cloud environments.
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, TS, Next.js).
- Experience with monitoring and CI/CD tools (Datadog, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Hands-on with AI tools in engineering workflows with prudent judgment.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture of scalable front-end solutions aligned with product requirements.
- Drive adoption of common frameworks, patterns, and practices.
- Set coding standards and best practices across Front End teams.
- Mentor and guide Front End engineers through pair programming and documentation.
- Reduce technical debt and improve workflow efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization.
