Job summary

Broadcom Inc. seeks a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (Staff) to work directly with enterprise client teams, shaping architecture and tackling field-level challenges across AI infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.

You will lead migrations of massive bare metal environments to VKS on VMware Cloud Foundation, deploy production-grade AI workloads, and feed insights back to core engineering for faster product iteration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 12+ years related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on experience with GPU/accelerated compute infrastructure for AI workloads.
• Experience migrating large-scale stateful workloads to Kubernetes platforms.

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise client teams to drive end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to production rollout.
• Architect, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters (VKS) across VCF.
• Lead migrations from bare metal and legacy stacks to cloud-native Kubernetes targets.
• Troubleshoot production field issues including networking, storage, and GPU failures.
• Synthesize field feedback into core engineering requirements and product priorities.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to prioritize platform features.
