Job summary

Talanto is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (Staff) focused on Kubernetes, platform modernization, and enterprise AI infrastructure. You will embed with enterprise client teams, driving end-to-end lifecycle from architecture to production rollout.

You will write production code in the field, build prototypes, and feed core engineering with field findings to shape platform capabilities across VCF, VKS, and hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with Kubernetes and AI infrastructure.
• Experience embedding with enterprise client teams across long projects.
• Proven ability to translate field needs into product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct Engineering to Field Collaboration across product and client teams.
• Identify migration blockers and rapidly implement field fixes.
• Stay embedded with client teams from discovery to go-live.
• Write code, deploy infrastructure, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Translate field feedback into prioritized platform features.
• Architect and deploy VKS clusters across hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead migration of massive bare metal environments to Kubernetes targets.
• Deploy and scale AI inference workloads on Kubernetes.
