Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (Staff) to embed with enterprise client teams, driving Kubernetes-based platform modernization and large-scale migrations.

You will lead end-to-end engagements, architect and operate VKS clusters, and scale AI inference workloads in production. The role emphasizes rapid iteration, field-level contributions to core engineering, and cross-functional collaboration with product and software teams within Broadcom's Infrastructure Software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
• 12+ years related experience required
• Hands-on with GPU accelerated Kubernetes nodes and AI inference workloads
• Experience deploying and operating distributed AI and data processing platforms
• Familiarity with multiple Kubernetes distributions (OpenShift, EKS, GKE, AKS, Rancher)

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise client teams across full lifecycle from discovery to go-live
• Identify migration blockers and rapid-field fixes to shorten iteration cycles
• Architect, deploy, and maintain production-grade VKS clusters across cloud and on-prem
• Lead migration of bare metal platforms and legacy data stacks to Kubernetes targets
• Deploy and scale AI inference workloads, RAG architectures, and vector search in production
