Job summary

Broadcom Inc. seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer (Principal) to serve as a technical authority for high-impact enterprise deployments.

You will embed with large accounts, guide architecture, and drive multi-year roadmaps for core infrastructure and AI platform software. You will own reference designs for vSphere Kubernetes Service, VCF topologies, and real-time AI inferencing pipelines, while leading migrations from legacy bare metal to cloud-native targets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with high-consequence infra
• Proven credibility with C-suite stakeholders while hands-on in production code
• Mastery of Kubernetes internals, CRDs, Operators, GitOps tooling
• Experience designing production-grade AI inferencing pipelines and GPU infra
• Track record migrating monoliths to cloud-native Kubernetes at scale
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java for systems-level code

Responsibilities

• Bridge core engineering, product leadership and enterprise architects
• Architect scalable VKS/VCF topologies for mission critical deployments
• Design and deploy real-time LLM inferencing and distributed AI runtimes
• Lead end-to-end migration strategies for large legacy systems
• Contribute production operators/CRDs and upstream to core ISG
• Influence product roadmap with concrete customer requirements
