Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with R&D, manufacturing, and operations teams. You will design and ship software to solve hard, real-world problems, including AI-enabled tools and governance-focused data models.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with modern web framework and back-end language.
• AI-assisted/agentic development experience and ability to embed AI into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Embed with teams to identify bottlenecks and build software solutions.
• Prototype AI-enabled tools and drive adoption within guardrails.
• Own end-to-end applications from data model to production deployment.
• Create governed, auditable data models with access controls.
• Integrate with enterprise systems (Snowflake, Oracle, Arena, Jama).
• Ship to production with containerized services and CI/CD.
