Job summary

JLL is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to operate at the front lines of innovation, embedding with cross-functional teams to rapidly design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled solutions. Expect to drive architectures, data pipelines, and production-grade code across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will shape patterns and playbooks used by engineers, mentor teammates, and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade AI and data-infused systems using modern tooling and AWS Bedrock

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of software engineering experience with customer-facing or embedded delivery roles.
• Strong software architecture background with cross-tool capability.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and building plugins/skills.
• Experience deploying AI agents on AWS Bedrock AgentCore is required.
• Experience with MCP servers/clients is required.
• Data pipelines and data flow redesign across varied sources.
• Full-stack development including backend, APIs, and dashboards.
• Mentoring engineers and setting technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design for cross-functional data and AI problems from discovery to blueprint.
• Evaluate tools and architectures across teams and platforms.
• Communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design scalable systems balancing speed with reliability and security.
• Create documentation: diagrams, data flows, API contracts, briefs.
• Establish reusable patterns and reference designs.
