Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the evolution of our product development operating system within the Innovation Center. You will drive enterprise-wide improvements to how products are developed, built, transferred to manufacturing, and commercialized.

You will partner across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Management to establish scalable processes and governance, improving development speed, product quality, and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or a Master’s degree with 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD with 2-4 years experience.
• Strong foundation in product development, design transfer, and manufacturing readiness.
• Experience developing and implementing scalable engineering systems, processes, or operating models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the product development operating system within the Innovation Center.
• Establish scalable engineering processes, governance, and best practices to improve development speed and product quality.
• Drive enterprise-wide improvements to product development, transfer to manufacturing, and commercialization.
