Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the evolution of its product development operating system within the Innovation Center. You will drive enterprise-wide improvements to how products are developed, built, transferred to manufacturing, and commercialized.

Partner across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Management to establish scalable processes and governance, improving development speed and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 8–12 years of related experience, or a Master’s with 5–7 years, or a PhD with 2–4 years.
• Experience building scalable engineering systems, processes, or operating models.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and leaders without direct authority.
• Strong foundation in product development, design transfer, and manufacturing readiness.
• Proven track record using data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the organization's business processes from concept to launch.
• Establish governance and engineering best practices across the Innovation Center.
• Lead design transfer initiatives and readiness assessments with manufacturing teams.
• Improve collaboration between engineering and operations to minimize post-transfer changes.
