Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in San Diego seeks a Staff Process Engineer to join the Product Innovation Center. You will lead NPIs, transfer products into manufacturing, and maintain KPIs such as yield, output, cost, and quality.

You will apply DOE, Gauge R&R, and statistical methods; collaborate with Ops, Pilot, Manufacturing, R&D, QA, and Supply Chain to scale up processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 8–12 years of related experience; Master’s degree 5–7 years; PhD 2–4 years.
• Experience with design controls, risk assessment, validation strategies, and product/process specifications.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to transfer new products/changes into manufacturing while maintaining KPIs.
• Use DOE and Gauge R&R to identify key variables and optimize processes.
• Collaborate with Ops, Pilot, Manufacturing, Equipment Eng, Supply Chain, R&D, QA and others to support NPI transfer and scale-up.
• Plan, manage and prioritize tasks; provide regular updates to stakeholders including management.
• Contribute to Design and Process requirements and validation strategies.
