Job summary
Dexcom seeks a Staff Process Engineer for the San Diego Product Innovation Center to drive transfer of new products and design changes into manufacturing. You will work cross-functionally to maintain KPIs such as yield, output, costs, and quality, using DOE and Gauge R&R to optimize processes and scale production.

Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing in a regulated industry.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement new products or design changes into manufacturing with focus on maintaining KPIs.
- Utilize statistical methods (Gauge R&R, DOE) to identify key variables and optimize processes.
- Plan, manage, and prioritize tasks; provide updates to stakeholders and management.
- Support successful NPI transfer and production scale-up with design and process requirements.
