Job summary

Ideon is seeking experienced software engineers to own significant projects from design through delivery. You will influence the technical direction of our healthcare data platform and member management solution built with Ruby on Rails and Rust, including Axum-based services.

You’ll mentor engineers, maintain high code quality, and apply sound judgment to AI-assisted development, collaborating closely with Product to shape architecture and roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Ruby and Rust.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and Axum-based services.

Responsibilities

• Own significant projects end-to-end, from design to rollout.
• Set technical direction across the healthcare data platform and member management solution.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Apply strong technical judgment to AI-assisted development while maintaining high quality.
• Raise the bar on engineering standards and processes across the team.
• Collaborate with Product to align roadmap and architecture.
