Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of large projects.
• Proficient in Ruby and Rust; Rails for APIs and Axum-based services.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production APIs.
• Experience building large-scale data pipelines.
• Strong collaboration, mentoring, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own significant projects end-to-end from design through rollout.
• Set technical direction for healthcare data platform and APIs.
• Provide autonomy and influence on engineering culture and direction.
• Apply sound judgment to AI-assisted development and tooling.
• Raise the bar on engineering standards, processes, and quality.
• Mentor engineers and act as a technical leader.
