Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, delivering rich dashboards and resilient microservices.

You will guide data integrations, AI enablement, and cloud operations, mentoring teams and shaping the technical roadmap while embedding AI features to automate workflows.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on full‑stack development and scalable apps.
Expertise with modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and data visualization.
Deep backend/API design, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.
Experience with relational/NoSQL databases and data integration.

Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end architecture and development of scalable web apps.
Design dashboards and data visualization for insights.
Build secure APIs and data integration layers across systems.
Integrate AI models and orchestration into products.
Drive DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and IaC for reliable releases.
Mentor engineers and align with product roadmap.
