CVS Health is seeking a visionary Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, delivering interactive dashboards and robust microservices.

The role emphasizes DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven features to automate workflows and provide intelligent insights. You will mentor teams, shape the technical roadmap, and optimize Payer Operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with focus on full-stack development and scalable apps.
• Strong frontend skills with modern JS/TS frameworks and data visualization.
• Deep backend/API design with scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating relational and NoSQL databases and complex data feeds.
• Hands-on AI integration using models and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and AI orchestration.
• Public cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD automation.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect and implement dashboards and user interfaces for complex data insights.
• Build secure, scalable APIs and data integration layers with diverse data sources.
• Champion AI features to automate workflows and synthesize data.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and IaC for reliability.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and performance profiling across the stack.
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers and define coding standards.
• Tackle ambiguous requirements by coordinating with stakeholders.
