Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, emerging AI capabilities, and intuitive frontend experiences, while mentoring engineers and guiding design across the stack.

You will champion DevOps culture, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven features to automate workflows and deliver intelligent insights, with a focus on Payer Operations optimization and measurable performance improvements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in full-stack, architecture, and scalable apps.
• Proficiency with modern JS/TS frameworks and data viz libraries.
• Experience with server-side languages and scalable microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and ORMs.
• Hands-on AI model integration and orchestration with LangChain.
• Public cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD with IaC.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to communicate decisions to teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable web apps.
• Architect dashboards and data visualization interfaces.
• Design secure APIs and data integrations.
• Integrate AI features and ML capabilities.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and IaC.
• Mentor engineers and align with product roadmap.
