CVS Health is recruiting a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, crafting dashboards and resilient microservices.

You’ll drive DevOps culture and embed AI features to automate workflows and deliver intelligent insights. Focused on optimizing Payer Operations, you will enhance Payer metadata, automate lifecycle contracts, and measure performance while mentoring teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development, architecture, and scalable apps.
• Frontend frameworks and data visualization experience.
• Microservices and event-driven architectures expertise.
• Hands-on AI model integrations and orchestration.
• Public cloud and DevOps experience with CI/CD tooling.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Full Stack Development: lead end-to-end design of scalable web apps.
• Dashboarding & Data Visualization: build rich dashboards to surface insights.
• Backend & Data Integrations: design secure APIs and data connections.
• AI Enablement: integrate AI/ML features into products and workflows.
• DevOps & Cloud: manage CI/CD, containers, and IaC for reliability.
• Operational Excellence: establish monitoring and performance profiling.
• Technical Leadership: mentor teams and shape the technical roadmap.
• Self Starter: navigate ambiguity and drive stakeholder-aligned solutions.
