Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA seeks a Staff Electronics Engineer to join our team. The role requires a self-starter with IPT experience and a track record in integrating electronics, avionics, and software across complex systems.

Active DoD Top Secret clearance is required at start; relocation may be available. Travel up to 25% is expected. Work is on-site at the facility with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in a STEM field with 12/10/7+ years of related experience respectively.
• Experience in integration and testing of software and hardware components in Unix and Windows environments.
• Ability to lead installation, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee test automation strategies across unit to system test.
• Advise program management on budget for long-term CI/CD goals.
• Ensure integration/testing across development, lab, and operational environments.
• Diagnose root causes across software, hardware, and electronics components.
• Collaborate with software, system, hardware, and test engineers.
• Develop interim solutions to maintain operational capability during changes.
• Develop and execute installation, integration, and acceptance test procedures.
• Contribute to documentation and development lifecycle processes.
