Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA is seeking an Electronics Communication Engineer to join the Avionics Integration Organization. You will work with LOS/BLOS systems and AESA antennas to support integration and testing.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance and can involve up to 25% travel. It is an on-site, full-time position with competitive salary ranges and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR Master’s degree in STEM discipline and related experience.
• Strong understanding of RF signal chains and system-level integration of Communication components.
• Experience with RF and Network based test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and power meters.
• Active US Government Top Secret Clearance (with background investigation within 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work with LOS and BLOS communication systems including AESA antenna systems.
• Provide user support, engineering expertise, and troubleshooting during test events.
• Lead root cause investigations for communication subsystem issues.
• Report subsystem status and identify risks to prevent cost/schedule impact.
