Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA, seeks an Associate Electronics Engineer – Field Operations to join our on-site team at Palmdale/Edwards. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline required.
0 years for Associate; 2+ years for Engineer role.
Active in-Scope, US Government Secret clearance required.
Ability to obtain SAP/PAR access prior to start.
Experience with Windows and Unix operating systems.
Experience with VmWare virtualization.

Responsibilities

Install and test datacenter hardware/software in new and upgraded IT systems.
Construct rack-based datacenter systems with focus on safety and quality.
Install system interconnect cabling for communications, networking, and serial interfaces.
Perform software integration of components (Windows, Unix, VMware) in host environment.
Provide on-site expert software, hardware, and system support to users.
