Job summary

Crowne Health Care is seeking a Staff Development Registered Nurse (RN) to educate and mentor our clinical staff in a geriatric long-term care setting. This role focuses on coordinating in-service training, new hire orientation, and maintaining high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Alabama RN license, have experience in long-term care, and possess a passion for developing strong nursing teams within a family-oriented organization.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license.
• Experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
• Staff development experience is a plus, but training is available for qualified RNs with long-term care experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Compassionate attitude toward caring for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct in-service education programs and new hire orientation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Promote and maintain the highest level of quality resident care.
• Provide nursing staff with clinical education, support, and guidance.
• Develop and implement orientation and mentoring programs for nursing staff.
• Assist with scheduling for nurses and CNAs.
