The Staff Development Nurse (RN) is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of educational programs for nursing staff within a long-term care/skilled nursing facility. The Staff Development Nurse plays a critical role in onboarding, ongoing training, and performance improvement initiatives while supporting a culture of clinical excellence, while also assisting with scheduling for CNAs and nursing staff to ensure appropriate coverage, operational efficiency, and continuity of quality resident care.
