Decatur Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (LPN) to join our care team in Decatur, TN. This full-time role focuses on planning, delivering and overseeing staff education and in-services to meet resident needs.

The ideal candidate holds a Tennessee LPN license with 2+ years of LPN/RN experience, and will maintain training records while ensuring compliance with policy and federal guidelines in long-term care. Benefits include PTO and comprehensive coverage.

• Current unrestricted LPN license for Tennessee.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as an LPN or RN.

SDC Position Summary

As the Staff Development Coordinator at Decatur Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Participate in the completion of facility assessments determining the knowledge and skills required amongst staff to meet resident needs.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and oversee educational training as well as routine in-services for all staff.
• Review and update education routinely to reflect the most current guidelines associated to company policy and/or federal guidelines associated with long-term care.
• Assist with evaluating competencies and maintain all records and reports of trainings and evaluations.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing and/or the Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

SDC Requirements

• Current unrestricted LPN license for the state of Tennessee
• 2 years of work experience as a LPN or RN
