Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator / Scheduler (LPN) to plan, coordinate, and deliver ongoing education, maintain competency records, and manage nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

The role promotes regulatory compliance and a positive, team‑oriented culture while supporting quality resident care; requires an LPN license and prior experience in long-term care, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Experience with staff scheduling and/or staff education is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct staff education and in-service training.
• Maintain employee education records and competencies per regulations.
• Develop and manage nursing staff schedules with appropriate staffing levels.
• Coordinate schedule changes, call-ins, and coverage needs.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to address staffing needs and ensure quality resident care.
• Assist with infection prevention compliance and continuing education requirements.
• Monitor certifications, licenses, and annual competencies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys as needed.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment through coaching.

Full-Time | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator / Scheduler who is responsible for coordinating ongoing education, competency training, and maintaining nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while supporting regulatory compliance. This position plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting excellence in resident care.

Job Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Experience with staff scheduling and/or staff education is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
