Job summary

KIOXIA America, Inc. is seeking a Staff Customer Qualification Engineer to support qualification activities for datacenter SSD products. You will develop test plans, perform failure analysis, and report status, ensuring hardware and software readiness for execution.

You will manage complex qualification infrastructure across multiple customers, drive qualification schedules, and collaborate with the Product Support lead to align tasks and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer engineering or equivalent field
• 7+ years hands-on technical experience with SSDs or related storage devices
• Advanced understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals
• Platform-level troubleshooting skills including run/break/fix and issue isolation
• Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server OS
• Familiar with data manipulation/analysis (spreadsheets or more advanced tools)
• Good technical communication skills providing detail and clarity in complex scenarios

Responsibilities

• Manage complex qualification infrastructure from multiple customers
• Plan and drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule
• Work with the Product Support lead to ensure alignment of tasks
• Perform failure triage on issues found during qualifications
• Drive issues to resolution in a timely manner
• Write test status reports on a regular basis
