Salesforce Slack is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join the Business Data Science team. You will partner with Growth teams, synthesize insights, and build data models powering analyses used by senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of quantitative experience, strong SQL, Python/R/Scala, and a track record turning data into actionable growth opportunities. Collaboration with Marketing, Go-To-Market, and Lifecycle teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional quantitative analysis experience.
• BS degree in a quantitative field; MS/PhD is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, or Scala).
• Excellent communication of analytical findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Growth teams to understand drivers and accelerate growth.
• Develop frameworks for identifying patterns and trends in customer behavior.
• Synthesize insights into crisp narratives for senior leadership.
• Build self-service tools and reports to empower non-technical users.
