Job summary

Acuity - PT&C, LLC is seeking a Staff Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities for complex projects. The role emphasizes coordination with engineers, discipline leaders, and project personnel to ensure accurate budgets and performance reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 5–10 years of relevant experience.
Certified Cost Professional preferred; required to obtain within one year of employment.
Knowledge in capital cost and services cost; scope change management.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other project-control tools.
Strong written and oral communication; leadership and organization skills.

Responsibilities

Develops cost data for projects, proposals, and contract negotiations.
Assists in cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
Prepares budgets, cost reports, and data analyses.
Coordinates with Engineering and other sources to support estimates.
Demonstrates cost problem-solving and innovative cost optimization.
