Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff CAD Platform Engineer to establish, maintain, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment powering our engineering and manufacturing teams. You will lead configuration, standardization, and continuous improvement of NX and PLM tooling to deliver rapid, scalable defense solutions.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled experience administering and configuring Siemens NX with advanced troubleshooting across CAD, CAM, CAE.
• Experience configuring NX templates, customization files, role-based settings for multi-user deployments.
• Experience creating and maintaining part families, product configurators, reusable libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment across the organization.
• Administer NX installations, license servers, and integration with Teamcenter PLM; manage upgrades and deployments.
• Configure standardized part families, templates, conventions, and libraries for design consistency.
• Lead root cause investigations for CAD/PLM issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop automation tools using NXOpen API and Knowledge Fusion to streamline tasks.
• Establish organization-wide CAD/PLM standards and global drawing templates and UIs.
• Provide technical leadership and training to engineering teams; mentor users.
