Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an NX Cad Admin / Triage support to establish and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment across engineering and manufacturing teams. You will ensure reliable, high-performance, standardized tools for rapid innovation, onboarding new hires, and maintaining documentation.

You will lead CAD/configuration projects, provide Tier 1–2 CAD/PLM support, and mentor engineers while aligning with security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Drafting/Design, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of IT helpdesk/technical support experience.
• 1–2 years CAD experience with NX or SolidWorks in a professional setting.
• Ability to read NX Logs/Sys Logs and troubleshoot CAD/PLM issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities and customer-focused mindset.
• Proven problem-solving skills and methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Ability to explain technical issues to engineers and non-technical staff.
• Multitask effectively and manage high ticket volumes while prioritizing CAD-stoppage issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment (templates, configs, defaults).
• Provide specialized CAD software support (NX, SolidWorks) to design/engineering teams.
• Manage IT helpdesk queue (e.g., Jira Service Desk) and triage tickets.
• Resolve Tier 1–2 CAD/PLM issues and meet SLAs.
• Onboard new hires with CAD workstations and access rights.
• Create and maintain self-service IT knowledge base articles.
• Provide leadership and training on NX; mentor users and act as escalation point.
• Coordinate configuration/improvement projects with engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality, and service providers.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement projects for CAD/PLM environment.
