Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced NX Developer to build and maintain the Siemens NX environment, delivering automation and integrations that speed modeling, drafting, and BOM work. You’ll own NXOpen tooling, templates, and journals, collaborating with engineers to ensure robust NX–Teamcenter workflows.

You will write code (NXOpen API, Python, C++), and influence internal developer tools from conception to deployment, supporting fast-paced mechanical and electrical design teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a CAD development role
• Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical degree
• Proficiency in NX Open API development using one or more of C/C++, Python, Java, or .NET
• Hands-on experience with NX CAD administration including templates, drafting standards, part families, reuse libraries
• Experience creating and maintaining NX journaling scripts and custom automation toolkits
• Strong understanding of CAD data management concepts including naming conventions, revision control, and BOM structures
• Ability to empathize with end-users and translate needs into features

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NX Open API customizations (C/C++, Python, .NET) to automate repetitive design tasks
• Build and manage NX CAD administrative tools including templates, part families, reuse libraries, and check-mate rules
• Create custom NX dialogs, menus, and toolbars to streamline workflows for design teams
• Develop journal-based automation scripts and NX Open applications to accelerate modeling, drafting, and BOM generation
• Collaborate with PLM engineers to ensure NX–Teamcenter integration in managed mode
• Work with a high-functioning team of solution engineers and cross-functional teams
• Help troubleshoot NX technical issues including deployment, site configuration, and toolkit distribution
